Condition Manager

Overview

G10 is pioneering the industry by embedding ‘Green Engineering’ design and architecture into security and control applications.  This allows them to offer cost and energy efficiency on a secure, stable, non-proprietary platform.  The Enterprise Manager suite of products are designed to operate with commercial off-the-shelf IP cameras and devices, servers, storage, switches on multiple operating systems.

Through an HTML interface administrators can access the system from any network computer through a secure SSL encrypted log-in using any ‘Standards Based’ browser e.g. Firefox, Explorer, Safari, Chrome, etc.

Using the latest Java Web Start technology, G10 software applications can be deployed by Users with a single click over the network.  Java Web Start ensures the most current version of the application will be deployed by the User every time, without the need for costly upgrades, end-user licenses and support engineers.

The advanced map navigation, thumbnail search, multi-camera/sensor playback, alarm monitoring interface.  G10’s ‘Open Standards’ integration policy with 3rd party technologies protects your current investment in monitoring technology.  More importantly, G10 protects future investment by eliminating vendor lock-in from proprietary systems, the need for unnecessary software licensing, reduces carbon footprint by consolidating recording appliances and subsequently cutting power and cooling requirements by outputting User data to a wide variety of viewing clients i.e. standard desktop systems, energy efficient thin clients and mobile devices. Post-sales Support and Maintenance cost can also be significantly reduced and SLA’s can be monitored and managed.

Mapping and Matrix View

There is no need to load client software, which often requires administrator rights, to access live video or sensory data.  G10 offers simple and secure access to live and recorded data through a highly secure and intuitive Java client interface.  In World View, a map based navigation screen provides an accurate multi-tiered location of live device viewing based on GPS co-ordinates.  Support for either maps or floor plans in JPG or other formats offer customers the option to customise their estate and show highly detailed device placement.

The Matrix View provides live viewing and allows you to drag-and-drop up to 25 (5x5) devices from any combination of locations.  The Matrix View also offers multi-monitor support for a video wall or control room set-up.

Advanced live view features for both world and matrix view include interactive device icons that change colour according to rules or threshold parameters. This alleviates operators from simultaneously watching constantly moving images or sensors across multiple screens seriously reducing fatigue and concentration limitations. Additionally, an audio alert will synchronise with the coloured icon to notify the User of any change in state.

The system automatically saves the Users unique custom layouts when logging off the system.  This affords minimum disruption during shift changes.

The G10 Engine

G10 offers the most advanced IP device recording and export functionality in the industry which includes, continuous recording, on-demand recording, incident based recording, and low per-device CPU resource consumption.

G10's advanced data authentication process enables Users to verify whether exported data has been tampered with or corrupted at any time.  Using recognised IT industry tools and techniques, video and sensory data is given a unique key identifier to distinguish original data from altered data on the host storage.

The G10 powerhouse recording engine can schedule recording to occur only when an event is occurring, saving valuable system resource.  A precise rules system allows the administrator to define  recording policy based on retention time or disk capacity usage.  These features ensure optimised retention periods for recording.

G10's always-On recording engine protects customers from losing any evidentiary data.  Running on one the most advanced operating systems available, uptime, security and scaleability are problems of the past for G10 and its customers.

System Administration

From one location you can manage cameras, IP sensory devices, locations, rules & actions and users removing the need to access servers individually to make changes. System administrators log-in using  their secure password.

System reports are included in the admin portal and provides administrators with on-demand or scheduled based reporting. Fully customisable, these reports allow filtering of data such as cameras, servers, storage, and general system status.
